Are your new year resolutions green?
Aaahh. The holidays are over and the days are beginning to get a little longer. Spring is just around the corner, practically! While many of us made our customary New Years' resolutions of becoming more fit, eating better and enjoying a less stress-free life, I am hopeful that many individuals (and companies alike) made the resolution to become more resolute in their every day life.
Let us remember that each and everything we do to help the environment, small or large, will have a greater impact in the long run. Simple things like not letting your car idle too long while it is warming up on a cold morning can have a huge impact on our environment. If you must use bottled watered at the gym or on the go, please please remember to recycle. Although the preferred method of carrying beverages would be in washable container, remember to toss that water bottle in recycling containers which are available on many sidewalks and in many stores, if you must use one.
If we all make a resolution for the greater good of the environment, then the impact will be felt for generations to come.

This Month's Green Living Tip
This is the time of year when charity organizations could use extra help. Check out your local soup kitchens, churches and organizations. Toy and food drives could use gently used clothing, toys and monetary donations. Not only will you be helping someone on need, but you will be recycling items, which lessens the amount of garbage in our landfills.
